In 2019, after years of saying all I had was tremors, I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease by a neurologist. I struggled with that and chose not to go on any medication but I kept getting worse. Between my shaking, poor posture, slurred speech, loss of stable balance where getting out of a sitting position to a standing position was difficult, the loss of the ability to smell and my fine motor skills were such that I could not sign my name to documents or hold a camera to take pictures of my family, I gave in to medication. The medications put a halt and/or slowed progress of Parkinson's Disease. In December of 2022 my son referred me to Mind Alive. Dave did some testing and set me up with the Mind Alive light therapy tools. After 3 months of daily use, my fine motor skills started to return, I could once again sign my name to documents. It was not pretty but it resembled my old signature. I have been using the Mind Alive light therapy tools for almost 3 years and I can say the grip Parkinson's had on my body has been slowly reversing. I have continued to take my Parkinson's medication at the same dose for the past few years which I believe put a hold/slow down of Parkinson's advancement. I personally believe the improvements in my life are related to the Mind Alive light therapy tools. My balance has improved, I can now stand up from the couch sitting position without a great effort. My posture has improved to the point where my wife seldom tells me to stand up straight on our walks, My ability to smell has improved. I can smell the forest fire smoke, which is great for a person who has not smelled them for years. The other day on one of our neighborhood walks, I could tell the difference between someone having a campfire in their backyard and the smoke in the air from all the forest fires. I can once again operate my cell phone as a camera. Still a little shaky but improving. I still struggle with my speech but that too has improved. For the record, I use the Mind Alive Light Therapy tools daily, without fail. I pick a time in the early morning each day.

"Who'd have thought this?

I am having some improvements due to my AVE sessions. My hands are much more steady and some short term memory improvements have surfaced - early, optimistic observations.

I had a big, pleasant surprise. My hand writing has become awful, especially noticeable when I write a check. My signature is nothing like it used to be and I have to concentrate to try to make it readable. I wrote a check a couple of days ago and was shocked - my hand was steady and my signature looked like it did long ago. What a surprise!

Overall, I'm off to a good start. Since I have started using it daily, I sense that something is going on in the background. I don't know what is happening and I have less on my mind daily which means less stress."
